I’d have to say that mine would be taking the truck to it’s first show, which has long been a dream of mine. Or all the Oppo events I went to this year.

It’s a fun place in the summer. Sleepy little Beach town. Some fun drives out there too.

The three weeks when I commuted  to work in the Carbiolet. And changing the wheel bearings. The only real wrenching I’ve done this year.

Well, I took my aging Town Car on a 1200 mile road trip to/ through the Blue Ridge mountains, missed a turn, and went up an unpaved  service road on the side of a mountain in NC at one point Discovered you really can turn those things around in some tight spaces.

Drove the 997.2 from Austin to Cleveland. Will probably do it again sometime this year, but under less stressful conditions so I can actually stop to enjoy things.

HATED driving it from Dallas to Austin. Never doing that again.

After changing some stuff out on the Mini I got it running well enough that I decided to drive three hours each way and spent a day with the Hot Rod Power Tour. I think the distributor was the key.   It’s run great ever since.

My favorite thing was buying it. Can’t believe I found such a low mileage one with a manual, also with no hail damage considering the last couple storm seasons here.

And this was my least favorite thing:

Got the frame in my ‘05 Tacoma replaced by the dealer for free.

I mean...it’s not the same as what you’re asking about...but it’s the best car thing I did this year.
